Mingyu Zhao
Head Chair

Hello everyone, I'm Ming, and I am excited to be serving as the Head Chair of ASEAN for YouthMUN 2023. I'm in my first year at LSE studying International Relations. I am from Dalian, China, but I’ve spent the past 8 years of my life in Singapore—a member nation of ASEAN, in fact. Having done MUN for 8 years now, YouthMUN will mark the attendance of my 18th conference as a whole and 8th as a Chair. Having lived in Southeast Asia as well, it peaks my interests to preside over such a specialised committee with heightened focus over South East Asian affairs. My interests outside of MUN range from music, movies, pub crawling, oversleeping, pool, and discussing anything related to international relations. Looking forward to meeting you all in London soon!
